AION 2 Monolith Locations — Verteron

All 561 Empyrean Trace (MonoLith) spawn locations in Verteron, extracted from the AION 2 client.

Monoliths are a permanent progression system in AION 2. Empyrean Traces — the glowing pickups the community calls "feathers" — are scattered across the open world, often on cliff ledges, inside caves or behind mob camps, so reaching many of them requires flight or gliding.

The 561 markers on this map are the MonoLith spawn units found in the Verteron client data (build 5.3.2.0): the Empyrean Trace pickup locations that feed the Verteron Monolith. Use the checklist to track which ones you have already collected.

FAQ

Monoliths are a permanent progression system. You collect Empyrean Traces ("feathers") in the open world and resonate them at the regional Monolith to level it up for permanent stats, titles and other rewards.

Every MonoLith spawn unit in the Verteron client data (build 5.3.2.0) — the Empyrean Trace pickup locations that feed the Verteron Monolith.

No. Roughly a third of them is enough to finish the Verteron Monolith reward track. Extra traces can be converted via Substance Morph, so completionists still collect the rest.

Use the Monolith Checklist: check off each trace as you loot it. Progress is stored in your browser and can be shared as a link.

Extracted from the AION 2 client 5.3.2.0 world-partition data layers. See the Data page for the full methodology and known gaps.
How the Monolith system works

Pick up Empyrean Traces in the field. Elyos characters collect Empyrean Trace: Verteron on this map; each faction resonates its traces at its own regional Monolith.

Resonate traces at the Verteron Monolith to level it up. Each level grants rewards such as permanent attribute increases, Wisdom Stones, titles and enhancement materials. The system is introduced by the regional story questline early in progression.

You do not need every trace: roughly a third of them is enough to complete the Verteron reward track. Extra traces can be converted through Substance Morph, so finishing all 561 is a completionist goal.
